Plastic windows are a direct attribute of a modern apartment. Based on a number of obvious advantages over wooden windows, the new PVC windows technologies in a very short time have become an integral part of the household sphere of life. The correct installation of plastic windows will ensure not only the maintenance of heat and the soundproofing of the room, but also guarantees the protection of the walls and the reliability of the window structures.
The installation process of a plastic window is carried out in several stages:
1. At the preliminary preparation stage, it is necessary to dismantle the old window structure, as well as measure the window opening for a high -quality installation of a new window. According to the results of the measurements, it is required to compile a sheet for the installation characteristics, in which the technical description is made, the window sketch, as well as a list of additional work. Using the level and plumbing, you need to check the window opening. Next, fasteners are prepared, construction garbage is removed. If necessary, it is possible to install anchor plates.
2.The stage of the actual installation of the window passes through a certain algorithm. First, the wings, double -glazed windows and protective film are removed from the frame. Then the frame itself is installed in the opening on the support and spacer gaskets. On the horizontal level and a vertical plumb line, the frame is set in three planes. Deviation from the norm over the entire length of not more than 3 mm is allowed. A special moisture insulation tape is glued to the outer part of the frame, which passes steam well. Such a tape protects mounting seams from destruction and is called psul. Further, using anchor bolts or construction dowels, perform the frame fastening to the opening. After installation, in the psul frame, the lines and double -glazed windows are installed in the tape of the psul. The stage of installation of the PVC window is finished with the processing of joints between the window and the wall specially designed for this purpose with polyurethane mounting foam.
3.The final stage of the window installation includes the installation of the window sill and tide. It is necessary to finish the slopes, adjust the fittings and sash of the window. The window sill is installed on a polyurethane mounting foam, starting under a window frame to a depth of 1 cm. It must be borne in mind that the slope of the window sill from the window structure should be minimal. Next, you need to process the joint of the window and the windowsill with a special white silicone sealant. The tide is attached to the outer window profile through the psul tape using dowels. The optimal tint length is about 60mm. The junction with the window is treated with sealant. The proper installation of the tide will prevent water leakage under the frame, which can lead to its subsequent deformation.
