This type of roof is mainly used in the construction of summer residential buildings, because it is not expensive, simple in the device and quite durable. There are asbestos -cement flat slabs and asbestos -cement wavy sheets. The most common roofs from wavy asbestos -cement sheets, since they are reliable, easily in styling, moreover, less than wood is needed for the crate. When performing roofing, wavy asbestos -cement sheets are placed on a crate made of wooden bars at a distance of rafters up to 1.2 meters a size of 50×50 mm, at a distance of rafters up to 1.5 meters – 50 × 60 mm. The crate can also be made of boards 40 × 120 mm. However, the distance between the dozen bars should be no more than 0.525 meters. In addition to asbestos-cement sheets, wavy asbestos-cement sheets of the SV-1750 brand are used large-scale. Using this type of roof, the distance between the dozen bars can be no more than 750 mm. A separate -taken asbestos -cement wavy sheet should lie down on three boards or bar. To make a compacted fit of the sheets to the crate, as well as one to one, the bar of the cornice should be raised due to a lining of 6×80 mm, and the rest of the bars – at the expense of the 3×70 mm strip. Around the holes, in mossy, in the skate and on the ovation of the roof, the crate must be replaced with a flooring of several boards. Sheets should be put from the bottom up parallel to the cornice, while the cord is to be verified by the cord. The next sheet located in the ranks should come on an adjacent to one wave. If the slope of the roof is more than 33 °, the adjacent rows are placed with an overlap of 12 cm, if a slope of 25 ° – with an overlap of 20 cm. Also overlapping connect the rows of sheets. The size of the overlapping of the rows depends on the type of laying. In the first version, even ranks need to be shifted to one (sometimes half) wave. In this case, it is necessary to avoid combining four layers of sheets in one place at once. In another version, lay all the sheet rows without displacement of seams, cutting the corners in advance. If the slope of the roof is more than 33 °, the sheets should be laid dry, and the cracks located in the places of overwhelming are sealing from the inside with a cement mortar. If the slope is smaller, then the sheets in the places of the overlap should be laid in combination with a cement mortar or use mastic (made of slag, bitumen, solar oil and lime). To attach sheets to the crate, either screws with washers or nails are used. Nails need to be painted when mastic dries. Attach a separate sheet of a series of cornice with 3 nails: one nail enters the fourth wave, piercing the cornice beam, two nails – go into the second wave from the overlapse. Further, the extreme sheets of the next rows are attached with two nails. If you use asbestos -cement wavy sheets, then the furnace, auditory windows and lights must be deprived of leaf steel. Under the jail, you need to lay the roofing material or make a plank flooring.
