According to employees of 3D Build Systems, the period of construction of buildings has been significantly reduced. In addition, this technology makes it easy to create buildings of unique architectural forms, for example, houses with flexible walls and domed ceilings, the construction of which is labor-intensive and expensive using conventional methods.
Company representatives say that houses from 65 m2 to 130 m2 are able to withstand harsh conditions, which include hurricanes up to 350 km/h. This is very important for new buildings being built in Florida, since tornadoes are a fairly common occurrence in the state. The printed buildings have a lifespan of 150 years.
